Adrift

I am a ship

Adrift on the sea

Trying to find a safe harbor

Yet all that I see

Is endless stretches of water

No place to anchor

 

Where do I belong?

Can’t figure that out

The search is montonous

I am weary and alone

 

Afraid that I may never find

A place where I belong
