Illumination

We wait for you to show
We wait
We wonder when
You are like the sun
Shining through
A myriad of dark clouds

Yes,we do know
That we are already lit
From within
We flicker and glow
We’re just waiting
For you to ignite the fire

So, we wait
We are patient
Just don’t take too long
Or linger to much
WE are ready to be
ILLUMINATED

    I’m not sure where I was going with this. It’s hard to finish something that was started a few years ago. I think I may have been taking about a muse- inspiration- illumination.
