Forgive me, My Lord

I am your humble servant

Who travels to my dark side

Furthest away from you

Alas, I am not perfect

I always return though

To  You and Your Love

Where it warms my soul

It lightens my heart

It’ where I belong

Amen.

Look into my eyes

Tell me that you recognize

Yourself inside of me

You are me

I am you

We are the same

We run deep

One day, you will permit me

To speak from my heart

To say all the emotional words

Expressed with my deepest love

You know, I love you

For the many wonderful things that you are

For the fire simmering in your eyes

For your energy and your drive

Your enthusiasm and zest is contagious

Your companionship is soothing to my soul

Our dialogue is unrestricted

Nothing is quite that freeing

Yet, you don’t know do you

For the one thing that hasn’t been allowed

Is for me to speak from my heart

Your heart is not open to receive this

I believe though

That one day will come

When all defenses will brought down

My words will be welcome

Until then, my love

I will hold these things inside

Waiting for the day

When I will be permitted to speak

I wish that I was a pretty package

Wrapped up with a bow

I wish that I was ageless

Free to come and go

I wish that I was the sweetest melody

Heartfelt in song

I wish that I was perfection

Confident and strong

I wish that I was your heart’s desire

Your dream come true

I wish that I could hold you forever

Warmly in love with you

If all of these wishes

Would be possible to obtain

I would be forever grateful

Nothing would ever be the same

I am a ship

Adrift on the sea

Trying to find a safe harbor

Yet all that I see

Is endless stretches of water

No place to anchor

Where do I belong?

Can’t figure that out

The search is montonous

I am weary and alone

Afraid that I may never find

A place where I belong

He moves slowly

Inch by inch till I feel his breath

Kiss my face

He gazes soulfully in my eyes

Till he hears me sigh

An intake of breath

He moves gently

Till our lips touch

He lingers there

He savors me

Gently then passionately

He opens my mouth

His tongue finds it’s mate

We are locked in this dance

The ecstasy begins

Dedicated to the most gifted musician/ friend that I know. Rock on!

Music courses through your veins

It sustains you

Creates within you

A passion so deep

That nothing

Nor anybody

Could replace

That yearning

Which simmers inside your soul

Sets you on fire

To play and be played

Let the melody begin

Rock on!

Dedicated to the dark knight in my life

What is it like

To feel as you do

Visiting your dark side

Acting upon the intensity

That drives you to tread

Those dangerous waters

You are an extremist

There are no limits that exist

Inside of you

You are a thrill seeker

A risk taker

Temptation is your constant companion

Yet at your very core

Lies purity of purpose

Love in it’s most innocent form

These are strong enough

To drive away your demons

Shedding light to your darkest desires

Dig deep, my friend

Resist your compulsions

Stand strong

Believe

Your life is worthwhile

Don’t let it be too late

Before the light is snuffed out

Darkness will overtake all.

To the love that is locked in my heart never to be reciprocated

You are the source that lights my way

You are the song inside of me

You are the key that unlocks the door

Releasing my soul and setting it free
